The 8 time EMMY AWARD winning HBO Original Series, GAME OF THRONES, is crafted from the multi Award winning novel book series, "A SONG OF ICE & FIRE," by George R.R. Martin. The series is set on the continent of WESTEROS, with Seven feuding Kingdoms, until the invasion, conquer, & unification of six of the Seven Kingdoms with Dragons by The Targaryen's, some 3000 years prior to the TV series. House Targaryen lost the IRON THRONE, to when three of the Seven Kingdoms, Houses' Baratheon, Stark, & Arryn, rose their banners, in what was know as "Robert's Rebellion," and seized the IRON THRONE, under the rule of KING Aerys I Targaryen aka The Mad King, and restored proper peace, law & order, back to the Realm, now, under the rule of KING Robert I Baratheon. A crown was added to the Stag (Sigil of House Baratheon), to note House Baratheon, as The Royal House. Check it out, it's worth watching.
