The Youth United Movement hosts a weekly telephone conference that targets youth and young adults ranging from 13-35 years old. Outside of our target however we do have many others that call in and have expressed encouragement and support. Our main focus is to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and encourage Christians in their walk. We have focused heavily on positive vs. negative media and the importance of youth feeding themselves with positive, Christ centered entertainment that builds up, rather than tears down the Christian believer. We start the call every Tuesday at 9:30 PM EST. the conference begins with an opening prayer and announcements, followed by a praise report time where callers can come on the line and give praise reports. Following that we have a testimony (5 mins), a song before the message, the message, followed by a closing song and the invitation/altar call.
