Soldiers Or Survivors Of Soldiers That Have Committed Suicide

To have personally known a loved one that found their way to deal with PTSD was not an option as suicide never is but I want to write a book called "The Faceless Soldier" as I feel alive they are heroes, except in Viet Nam era when our soldiers were so horribly mistreated (shame on us) and then when they commit suicide we see them as faceless. Shame on us they are the reason we are free and they are forever my hero. Please tell me your story of your hero so they can be seen as a hero not a zero.
