What we all find hard to adjust to is the hole in our lives the re forming of the patterns we had which must now be remade. Life is a product of the mind and it forms patterns and routine to gauge pleasure and sadness by comparison. When your husband passes part of this comparison is still used by the mind to compare the happiness and sadness with which provides a never ending reminder unless a more powerful influence arrives into life. This could be a new lover which is always there, it is God. Loving God is a great way to help to weaken the grip of the mind which is mourning the loss of the husband. This is a pattern of your mind which is being used against you.
