The Noida University (NU) is to be enacted by the Uttar Pradesh State Govt. under the "Noida University, Uttar Pradesh Act, 2010” and will be notified through an official Gazettes notification with the right to confer degrees as per sections 2f and 22(1) of the UGC Act 1956. For further details,log on to www.noidauniversity.org The main purpose of Noida University shall be to provide access to educational opportunities in various subject areas to students in India. NU’s main goals are excellence in Teaching, Learning, Research, Scholarship, Creative activity & Civic Engagement- Locally, Nationally and Globally. The University is spearheaded by Prof. S.N. Kulkarni who has been the youngest VICE-CHANCELLOR of a University in India. He was awarded Commemorative Medal of Honor, Hallmark 2000 by the American Biographical Institute, INC. USA in 1999. An active member of IEEE inc. USA & the IET UK with 15 years of experience, he has been championing the cause of Technology education.
