The goth subculture is a contemporary subculture found in most countries which started in the early 80s and began as offshoot of post-punk genre. The gothic movement music started from the late 70s and early 80s. ~Remember Goth is mainly about the music and fashion together and is one of the keypoints to be a Goth. Goth involves art and literature like Edgar Allan Poe, Bram Stoker, H.P Lovecraft & Anne Rice, Without the music & info of the Goth subculture, how can you be considered as a goth? Looks alone don't define a Goth. A goth as a person is basically a avid fan of Gothic Rock. Being a goth means that you have a appreciation for the beauty found in darkness or decay, a appreciation for whimsy, to yearn for the everyday humdrum world, healthy sense of the absurd and not afraid being your own person doing whatever makes you happy and expressing your individuality.~ This a group for people who are into goth. *Any offensive or flaming comments will be removed from this page*
