Famke Janssen (Amstelveen, November 5, 1964) is a Dutch actress. She broke the world (and also at home) with her role as Xenia Onatopp, the woman who could kill with her thighs in the Bond movie GoldenEye. After she graduated high school a blue Monday Janssen economics at the University of Amsterdam, while extra buck as a model. She worked throughout Europe in 1984 and emigrated to the United States. Soon they turned their backs on the modeling world and devoted himself to study literature at Columbia University in New York. To prevent them in English as "Famke Bummer" would go through life, she changed her name back to Smith. She took acting classes - first as a hobby - and later moved to Los Angeles where she ended countless auditions. She appeared in small guest roles in television series such as Melrose Place and Star Trek: The Next Generation. In 1992 she made her film debut in the drama "Fathers and Sons.
