The five East Africa Community Countries named have always enjoyed close co-operation. To a larger extent its peoples bear close similarities in way of life, languages and cultures and traditions. Not to mention having identical tribes across boarders. It is therefore no surprise that a Treaty for the Establishment of the East African Community came into being on 7 July 2000 and with it, the East African Community came into being again. On June 18 2007, Rwanda and Burundi acceded to the Treaty. This group therefore is established in the same spirit seeking to bring together the East African Community of the five Nations living within and those in Diaspora to share experiences and make friends. Well wishers and friends the world over are also welcome to join. Cheers!
