Description:Let's discuss the State of Black Relationships. There are good black men who love black women. There are good black women who are ready to be loved. Eighty-two percent of black men marry black women (compared to 62% of Asian American men and Hispanic men marrying within their race). Back in December 2009, ABC News Nightline reported a story on the statistics of unmarried black women. If you have a good black man, you better hold on to him and hold on tight because the statistics that were reported are very startling. According to the segment, 42 percent of successful black women have never been married. The piece also states how 21 percent of black men do not have high school diplomas, 17 percent do not have jobs and 8 percent are incarcerated. That only leaves 54 percent of eligible black men and that's not counting the ones who are already taken and those that are homosexual.
