Active Bali For those of you with an adventurous mind and with energy to do more than sunbathing, shopping or sight seeing, below are a few suggestions of exciting land based and aquatic activities. If you know what you like-go for it! If you don’t, we suggest you try everything. I challenge, How dare are you? Water sport & Adventures • Diving & Snorkeling If you are not tried these sport, we recommend that you start at Sanur or Tanjung Benoa Beach where you can hire the necessary equipment, either right on the beachfront ( at a beach club). Instructions are available at these diving centres.Most of the centres offer International (PADI) diving certificates but be sure to check their PADI Resort Code as well, for the insurance and medical facilities. It is advisable to look for diving centres that have a ‘five-star’ PADI Approval Rating. Please note that Bali’s only decompression chamber is at Sanglah Public Hospital in Denpasar.
