The AT project is dedicated to the valuable artistic expressions of dark creativity. Dating back to the medieval depiction of the inferno, the art of macabre had presented a notable number of prominent works. Facing the tenebrous depths of our being is a feature to be found more or less in the abyss of every culture. Art seems to be more than mimesis, more than imitating beauty, constituting something that stands for the wonderful complexity of our own nature. Despite our everyday deeds and struggles we are sometimes tempted by our own fears. At least in a bizarre game played by the means of arts. The Transylvanian legacy had served as a great fountain of inspiration to the genre. The region's dark mystical character given by a blend of its cultural and geographical features is although far from being thoroughly exploited by the well-known vampire legends.
