It's been a long road for REDWINE, but it's his powerful voice -- a smooth saxophone-like instrument of a voice whose soaring clarity is topped off with a tantalizing touch of soulful grit -- that's carried him through, not to mention the combination of Detroit soul and sex appeal, along with a solid work ethic. No matter what was going on in his life, positive or negative, he has fought all his life to keep his dream of a musical career alive. "There many trials and tribulations you must go through to get to where you want to be, especially if you feel like its destiny." REDWINE was born in Detroit’s Motown City under the name Navell Ali Redwine. He started his journey as an artist at the tender age of 6-years old, singing at Holy Temple Apostolic Church. Following in the footsteps of his mother, until she began her family of five children, who also pursued a career in the music industry.
