    • Adjunct to Buddhism, I study and teach Bhagavad-gita to strive for perfection in life through moralism and devotional service.

    • Muhammad taught his followers to believe in the God of Adam, Noah, Abraham, Jacob, Moses, David, Solomon and Jesus, and to believe in them as true prophets, messengers and servants of Almighty Allah. Muhammad taught many important principles and morals. It was not until the proper method of warfare was instituted by Allah in the Qur'an, with proper rights and limitations according His Commandments, that any retaliation or combat was sanctioned. Orders from Allah made it clear who was to be attacked, how and when and to what extent fighting could take place. The Prophet further stated, God has created each person in the image that is His according to His plan, and their spirit is His. Then as they grow older they begin to distort their faith according to the influence of the prevailing society and their own prejudices.

    • The Lord sends His messengers and other representatives to teach society about Himself and form new religions, such as Islam and Christianity. One such representative was the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad who taught the Islamic faith of worship to Allah to that sect of people. At that time, people had become so perverted that sons were having sex with their mothers and sisters and worshiping idols. The Holy Prophet taught to stop that practice and stop eating meat, and respect all life including plants and trees. The Holy Prophet taught compassion, tolerance, peace, honesty, integrity and trustworthiness; morality, science, mathematics, psychology, medicine, metrology, geology, and more, and became a strong proponent of non-violence and vegetarianism. He introduced the Muslim faith of worship to Allah. God has many names: Jehovah, Allah, Yahweh, Rama, Krishna, Supreme Lord, Almighty, Lord Krishna. He is the Propriator of all things, living and nonliving. He is the Supreme Personality of Godhead.

    • He also taught the Torah (Old Testament), Zabur (Psalms) and Enjil (Gospel or New Testament) were originally from the very same source as the Qur'an, from Allah to the angel Gabriel. He asked the Jews to judge according to their own Book, and they tried to cover up some of it to hide the correct judgment, knowing he could not read. Uniting mankind for the purpose of worshiping the one God of Adam and what all other prophets taught was his main motivating cause, and his striving was for the sole purpose of having everyone to understand and follow the codes of moral excellence set forth by Allah in His Revelations.

    • Almost every one of us thinks that he is his body, Why is that? The Vedic literatures explain that there is a spark of life within the body that animates it. This spark of life---the spiritual soul---is the real self, the real person. When encased within, say, a white male body born in America, the self thinks, "I am a white American man." When in a black female body born in Europe, the self thinks, "I am a black European woman." And so on. This is illusion or (in Sanskrit) maya---"that which is not." This illusion is very strong---right from birth everyone identifies himself with his body---so we require education. We have to learn that science which comprehends not only the material body but also the soul within the body. Although such a science is not taught in any Western university, it is taught in the Vedic literatures especially in the Bhagavad-gita.

    • I follow the Buddha and live for wisdom, compassion and ethics. The Four Noble Truths are: The truth of suffering (dukkha); The truth of the cause of suffering (samudaya); The truth of the end of suffering (nirhodha); The truth of the path that frees us from suffering (magga).
