I've always loved music!!! I enjoy most types of music, but my favorite music is Rock! ** I like Rock from the 70s, 80s, and 90s (This includes Christian Rock, If you're not familiar with the music, I talk about it in more detail below and if you're interested learning more about it AT ALL, please read my section on it below!), I also love classic rock from the 50s and 60s, I also really like Techno/Electronica and some 90s dance music, etc. [A tiny bit of C&W, too. Mostly the old country music though. i.e., Johnny Cash, Marty Robbins, etc...] I also like Steam Powered Giraffe and Celtic music. I've even been known to enjoy some classical music like Bach, Beethoven, etc.

*************************************************************** I mostly like Comedies (John Candy, Jim Carrey, Tim Allen, Robin Williams, Eddie Murphy, Steve Martin, etc.) But, I also like Sci-Fi, Creature Features, Mystery Thrillers, Family Movies, Action Adventures, and Westerns... I'm not into Horror, though.

Also reruns of "Get Smart", "Hogan's Heroes", "Gilligan's Island", "F Troop", "Little House On The Praire", "Gunsmoke", "Home Improvements", etc.

************************************ My favorite books are: The Bible, ** "Animal" - The life of Gene Culver, (A former Hells Angel turned preacher), ** "They Call Me The 'Catch-Me' Killer" (about the life of Bob Erler), ** "They Shoot Canoes Don't They?" & "Never Sniff A Gift Fish" (both by humorist, Patrick McManis), ** "Judo Boy", ** And finally...they aren't books, but I read them a lot; Motorcycle mags like "Rider", "Motorcyclist", and "V-Twin", and Computer mags like "PC Computing", Computer Shopper" and Car mags like "Hot Rod", "Street Rod", and "Custom Rodder"...

************************************** I like football (favorite teams are the Denver Broncos, SF 49ers & I used to watch the Miami Dolphins), I like Martial Arts (Judo, Aikido, and Tae Kwon Do), I also like almost any thing to do with Motor Sports (i.e., NASCAR, Motocross, Monster Trucks, Mud Drags, Speedboat racing, 4x4 rock climbing & Off-roading, etc.)

*********************************** RIDING MOTORCYCLES! And riding motorcycles, and riding more motorcycles!!! -- I love riding my bike. There's nothing like having the wind in your face, riding alone or in a pack, & participating in a poker run! I get an adrenaline rush & an awesome feeling of freedom, riding those two wheels on the open road! You get to hear & smell things on a bike, you won't experience in a car. Like the smell of flowers, pine trees, and where I live, the Russian Olive trees, etc. as we ride down the road! ************************************ I enjoy MAKING MY WIFE HAPPY!!! She is THEE most important person in my life, second only to my Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ! I also enjoy sharing what God has done in my life with those who are interested (but I'm not pushy), I also enjoy Genealogy, Classic cars & trucks, Street Rods, Inventing, Archeology & Anthropology, Archery, Camping, Hunting & Fishing, Photography, Christian Theology & Apologetics, Science, Computers, Acting & Stand-up Comedy... ...

********************************* Spending eternity in Heaven with Jesus and all of my family and friends who are saved, because this earthly life is only temporary, short, and is tainted with sin. Until then, I would like to be able to live without having sooo much back pain! (I have degenerative disk disease. I'd love to visit most of the European countries & Japan, & Australia, China, Africa, etc., For several years now, I've dreamed of learning "Ballroom" dancing & playing the guitar. For now, the Ballroom dancing is not possible for me, but I may learn how to play the guitar!

Many of my ancestors fought in the American Civil War, most fought for the Union side, but at least one was a Confederate soldier (He had five brothers who served in the Union army!). ** I've been happily married to my wife for over 35 years & will remain faithful to her until death takes me, or she gets tired of this ole reprobate! LOL!!! I don't think that's gonna happen though. ;o)

********************************************************************The dolphin has been my favorite animal ever since I saw the original "Flipper" movie back in the sixties. When I was about 11 or 12 yrs old, I got to pet a dolphin..., get this, in Cheyenne, Wyoming!!! *********************************************************** ...I also think eagles & tigers are very cool. Actually, I've always loved animals of all kind, but some animals that are at the top of my list are all of the large cats (lions, tigers, etc.), horses, elephants, rhinos, wolves, orcas, the manta (sting) ray, fresh water game fish (trout, bass, perch, etc.), mule & whitetail deer, elk, moose, bears, otters, wolverines, seals..., but really, I love all of God's creatures!

(I was rejected due to a minor physical issue) .... However, my father served in WW2 & my brother served 2 tours in Vietnam. They both volunteered to serve & I'm extremely proud of them. I am a patriot & I strongly believe as Americans we should Honor, Support, & Respect our soldiers, regardless of the popularity of the conflict or war they are called to fight in!!!! ** Those who fight for OUR freedom (& other peoples' ) are deserving of our HONOR, SUPPORT, & RESPECT! ** I always try to remember to thank ALL our veterans for serving their country & laying their lives on the line, so we can be free. Christian music began going through a revolutionary change in the 60s & early 70s. During this time period there was a new spiritual renaissance leading many young people to search for spiritual enlightenment & understanding. Many found the answer in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ & became a large part of a group known as the "Jesus Movement." Many of these young people found refuge in music & because music was such a powerful vehicle with the young people, it seemed like a natural fit to combine the sharing of God's love with the popular music style of the day [rock]. This resulted in the birth of Christian Rock music. This new music genre quickly spread throughout the country in the streets, the coffee houses, the colleges & universities, the art community, & finally INTO the church. *** Here is a short list of Christian Rock bands that are some of my favorites: bands like Letter 7, The Letter Black, White Heart, Whitecross, Petra, Tempest, Leviticus, Barren Cross, Idle Cure, Day Of Fire, Building 429 (aka B429), Stryper, News Boys, Hymns Of Eden, Fireflight, Legend Seven, X-Sinner, Idle Cure, The Letter Black, Narnia, HB, Daniel Band, Red, Skillet, just to name a few.
