Lara *Mafia*

I like a lot of music. I like a lot of modern country music, but also hip-hop, pop, rock and rap. My favorite artists are Eminem, Nickleback, Garth Brooks, Shania Twain & Aerosmith.

I love movies. My favorite genres are mystery, suspense, sci-fi & action. Anything that make you think is good and special effects rock! My favorites are: The Matrix series (the 1st was the best), The Harry Potter series (they keep getting better), The Princess Bride, Heat, Goonies, the Die Hard series, the Alien movies (Alien vs Predator is my favorite).

I like tv and movies so much that I work for the cable company. The greatest invention of my generation is TIVO. Followed closely by Netflix. My favorite shows right now are Lost, CSI, The Daily Show, Miami Ink, LA Ink, Eureka, America's Best Dance Crew.

Anything by Michael Crichton. The Harry Potter series rocks! Shakespeare is amazing in that many of his themes can be seen in a lot of today's movies. My favorite of his has always been Hamlet. I really enjoyed the Twilight series. (3rd book was best) The Deathnote series was an awesome anime series. And Y: The Last Man was an awesome graphic novel series.

I enjoy photography, both taking pictures and appreciating others' work. My favorite photographer would definatly be Annie Leibovitz. I like scapbooking, but I am way behind on putting my pictures into albums. I like playing video games, right now I am into Fable 2, Resident Evil 5, Army of 2, World of Goo, but I get bored easily and switch games often. Our zoo consists of a Pitbull, 8 snakes and an ever changing # of rats. (mostly to feed the snakes) We belong to a reptile rescue group called VIIPER, which stands for Virginian's Interested in Protecting Every Reptile. If you live near Hampton Roads and like reptiles check it out at http://www.viiper.us/ . I collect pint glasses and have over 60. I love Halloween and we work at a local Haunted House every year. We go All-Out when decorating for Halloween, though our skull collection is displayed year round.

What can I say about me?. . . . . I am married to a great man and we have 2 wonderful kids. I work full time and enjoy my job, but also enjoy my time off. I like spending most of my time with my family. They are what is important in life.
