Heinlein and Greg Bear in Sci-Fi, in modern authors, Julio Cortazar, Jorge Luis Borges, Umberto Eco, Patricia Cornwell and Streve Berry, well, and MANY more BUT Dan Brown ;-) The Holy Bible (the British King James OXFORD Version in English, la Biblia de Jerusalen en Espanol), the Enciclopaedia Britannica.

Sailing, snorkeling, swimming, fishing, angling, boxing, playing cricket, riding, cycling, running the mile.......... I'm a sportsman, lol.

Making life worth living is my main interest. I also collect many things; I read a lot and write with pen and ink over paper ;-) I had published a lot of articles and short stories, and my first novel is, finally, in progress ;-)

Owning my own long range cruiser to cross the Atlantic ;-) Meanwhile, I'm happy with my old, shared 31 feet Hallberg-Rassy. Enough for the Irish Sea, the Gulf of Biscay and coastal sailing in Ireland, Southern England, Northern Spain and Western France.

I'm NOW nine and fifty but the fact of the matter appears to be that I've found for myself a second youth. And that I also FEEL it!

First and foremost, I SERVED. I'm a Scholar, a Scientist and a Researcher. As for my profession, I'm an University Professor, teaching post-grade masters and tutorizing doctoral thesis. I'm a religious man, a practicing Roman Catholic very close to the Jesuits, and also a liberal. I'm a proud (Irish-Spaniard) - American. I always vote. I Love the USA much more than I thought it could be possible.

As an American Citizen I support our Constitution (1787) and the Bill of Rights (1791) that comprise the Ten first Amendments. All of them. The First gives us the freedoms of speech, press, religion, and the right to assemble peacefully, protest and demand changes. The Second gives us the right to bear arms. So I defend the Bill of Rights. You can't pierce it defending one and opposing the other amendment. Said I'm member of several Civil Rights Organizations (AFJ, NCL, JRS/USA, PFAW, Black Lives Matter), in consecuence I enrolled the NRA in the first term of Charlton Heston as President, I was member of the Silver Bullet Brigade and now I'm a life member. The NRA was the only institution that defended our right to bear arms. Now, I can't say. definetely not if they support semiautomatic rifles as arms for defending our homes. See what happens when an armed SOB decides to shot in three chosen places. I'm against all kind of radicalism; including here the white supremacists, the racists, the spreaders of counterknowledge, the media that only produce fake news, the conspiracy theorics, the conservative radical religious sects both muslim, christian and jewish; the creationists and supporters of the inteligent design.... I can't think in other way because as a lifelong learner I'm very well informed.
