Sweet T

I listen to a mix of older rock, country and Christian music. Jazz, classical and beach music are sometimes my choice too.

I like psychological thrillers and action movies. I don't tend to go for "chick flicks". Movies that are based on a true story are the most interesting. (Sometimes reality is stranger than fiction). "Passion of The Christ" is a must see, especially if you want a better understanding of how Jesus suffered for YOUR sins.

I rarely look at TV. I rather do other things. My computer gives me better choices.

I love to read. I tend to look for information about ways to stay healthy and strategies for retirement planning. I'm trying to understand what I read in the Bible. I'm finding that there is alot I never learned even after years of going to church...go figure.

I will go to a football game with someone if I think they can handle seeing their team lose. I watch the Super Bowl to see the commercials....really. Bowling is the closest I get to participating in sports.

Becoming the person God intended me to be. Keeping balance in my life. I love to travel. I enjoy trying new foods and I like cooking. A good conversation over a glass of wine or a cup of coffee is something I look forward to. I'm a social person. I like going to dinner theater(I guess people still do this). I used to go to the ballet around Christmas time to see "The Nutcracker". A day by the ocean or in the mountains is always nice. I also enjoy things like photography, shopping for antiques, going to car shows, boating, fishing (I eat what I catch), swimming, dancing (I can do a basic shag), bowling, ice skating,camping (tent or RV), riding a bicycle, cookouts, and keeping in touch with friends and family. I'm an animal lover, but for the record, I'm a CAT lover. I'm not so into dogs.

I have a dream to live a long, prosperous and peaceful life. I'm working towards retirement. I'll keep God close along my way. Heaven is my final destination.

People seem to find me approachable and realistic. My eyes or smile are likely my best physical features. Intelligence, competence, resilience and a sense of humor are my best overall features though.

I joined tagged at the request of a friend. I am here to stay in touch with them and meet other people. I'm from Charleston, SC. I grew up in a conservative Christian family. I am college educated (Clemson University). I stay pretty close to my roots. I do not smoke,vape or use tobacco products. I'm not a drug user either. I do drink alcohol, just not often. I am a planner by nature, but I do enjoy a pleasant surprise. I'm not a country girl or a city girl. I love things about both places. I'm laid back and easy going most of the time. My pictures here were posted to give a look at the face behind the mind. I appreciate others who also share a photo. I enjoy talking with people who are more cerebral than most of us. The best gift a person could ever give to me is time with them. I would choose to face reality rather than live in fantasy.

People who do not think before they speak.

I have made an effort to get the drama out of my life. This has meant leaving some people behind. The joy and peace this choice has brought to my life is worth it to me. For those who have asked, I am not interested in alternative lifestyles ( I am vanilla).

I have the ability to communicate difficult or unpopular directions and initiatives in such a way that others can appreciate and understand the information.
