Easy going live and let live attitude

I was in the U.S.M.C. 1970 - 1973. Spent over 20 years involved in the POW/MIA issue, supporting our veterans, active duty military and our wounded troops in the Washington, DC area. Was part of Rolling Thunder and a member of Patriot Guard.

Love riding the mountains of Tennessee and North Carolina including the Great Smoky Mountain National Park from Gatlinburg to Cherokee, the Cherohala Skyway, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and the backroads that most visitors to this area never get to see. Love riding in the Sturgis,SD area also and have been many times. Like riding to the Badlands, Wounded Knee, Mt Rushmore, the Crazy Horse National Monument, Spearfish Canyon, Devils Tower, Needles Highway, Custer State Park, the old west towns of Deadwood and Spearfish. Enjoy the beaches also. Like walks on the beach at night in the moon light and listening to the sound to the surf. Love good food, good company, hot tubs and a bit of Jack Daniels when I'm relaxing after a full day of riding. Love good seafood too.

Returned to Tennessee IN 2008 to start my own business doing " motorcycle fantasy vacations " so right now one of my dreams is to establish a successful business. I really enjoy showing people the beauty of this area for their first time. Will lead guided tours thru the mountains of TN and NC. We stay in secluded mountains cabins with hot tub, jacuzzi, and beautiful views. In addition you can pick from an option package with over 60 different things to do such as helicopter rides over the mountains, zip lines, whitewater rafting, horse back riding, NASCAR races, and much more.I can do golf or wedding / honeymoon packages ( can do sunrise or sunset mountain top weddings) For those that want to fly in and ride I have access to a full line of Harleys for rent ( except V-Rod ) and most Hondas. Will have you picked up at McGee-Tyson Airport in Knoxville, TN and taken to pick up your rental motorcycle. These tours may include some very challenging stretches of mountain roads but will try and customize each tour to accomodate the riders experience level. The safety of those riding in my tours is my number one concern.

I rarely do guided tours anymore. I make MOTORCYCLE TOURING MAPS OF EAST TENNESSEE AND WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA. Now visitors to the mountains can see many of my favorite routes at their own pace and in any order they may want.
