    • Parent-Teen Mediation Program During the challenging period of balancing independence and working toward adulthood, parents and teens can experience conflict around recurring issue. Help for families negotiating difficult moments with teens can be hard to find and often not tailored to specific circumstances. PFPMC offers alternative dispute resolution. We dedicated to helping families resolve conflict in a safe, neutral environment. Communication • Trust • House rules/responsibilities • Siblings, rooms and fairness • Curfew and car use • School attendance and grades • Foster/step-parent relationships • Dating or sexual activity • Smoking/drinking/drugs Mediation is an opportunity for parents and teens to: talk about the things that are bothering them, set goals and then work out agreements that will help them get along better • create a safe place where everyone is given a chance to talk and listen • openly discuss their points of view and
