BUJU BANTON IS INNOCENT! On Thursday December 10th at exactly 2:00pm, five DEA agents showed up at the South Florida home of Jamaican music star, Buju Banton, and arrested him for possession with intent to distribute 5 kilograms of cocaine. The icon, who has maintained his innocence from day one, has been detained in Miami and will soon be moved to Tampa where he will fight the allegations. These trumped up charges are just the latest in a long history of harassment and persecution endured by Buju throughout his colorful, twenty-year music career. Knowing what we do about the unsavory tactics sometimes used by Federal government agencies, and especially after reading the shoddy affidavit they leaked to the media, we the fans, friends and supporters of Buju Banton conclude that IT WAS A SET UP! WE DEMAND THE RELEASE OF BUJU BANTON! If the case goes forward WE DEMAND A FAIR TRIAL! We will be watching YOU! The struggle continues... now the movement begins! FREE BUJU BANTON!
