What is a MOMM? A MOMM is a mother of biological and/or adopted children of any age. She may be married, single, widowed or in a situation. She endlessly and selflessly sacrifices for the betterment of her child(ren). She gives her all, every day, to see that her child(ren) is/are cared for and that all of their needs and many of their wants are met. She is celebrated by her child(ren) when all is going their way, she is depended on to fix whatever goes awry, and is blamed for everything that goes wrong in their lives. She rarely gets a moment to herself and self-care is nearly non-existent. She wears many hats (wife, sister, daughter, cousin, friend, co-worker, supervisor, etc.) and is expected to do it all with a smile. She may tire, but she is not allowed to sleep because someone always needs something. She is lovingly called MOM by those she cares for, but she hears it as MOMM – just like any other four-letter word!
